User Agreement

These terms govern your use of DeskMuse, including accounts, desk setup content, community tools and in-app purchases.

1. Accepting This Agreement

By registering for, accessing or using DeskMuse, you agree to this User Agreement and the DeskMuse Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app. We may update this Agreement when the service or legal requirements change. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Agreement.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, or any higher minimum age required in your country, to use DeskMuse. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, the security of your email and password, and activity under your account. Do not share credentials, create an account for someone else without permission, or use another person's account.

3. The DeskMuse Service

DeskMuse provides tools for discovering, creating and sharing desk setup content, communicating with other users, sending in-app gifts, and purchasing or using promotional features. Features may change, be unavailable in a region or be limited for safety, technical or legal reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, reach, engagement or commercial results.

4. Your Content and Our License

You keep ownership of content you submit. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed for your photos, videos, text, product links, trademarks and any people shown in the content.

For public profiles, public setups and public comments, you grant DeskMuse a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, display, distribute and promote that content in connection with DeskMuse. For drafts, private profiles, private messages and other private records, the license is limited to hosting, storing, securing and providing the relevant feature. The license ends when the content is removed, except where copies must be retained for safety, legal, dispute or backup purposes.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not use DeskMuse to post or distribute illegal, fraudulent, abusive, hateful, sexually explicit or harmful content; infringe copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights; impersonate a person or organization; harass, threaten, dox or exploit another user; send spam, phishing or malware; manipulate engagement; evade account restrictions; or interfere with the app, its security or its payment systems.

6. Messages and User Safety

Do not use private messages to scam, pressure or mislead another user into payment or an unsafe transaction. DeskMuse may process messages and related metadata to deliver the service, investigate reports, prevent abuse and comply with law. Deleting a message or chat history removes it from your own view only; another participant may retain their own view or copy.

7. Moderation and Account Status

Users may report, block or restrict other users. We may review, label, limit, hide or remove content, restrict messaging or gifting, pause promotions, and suspend or disable accounts that violate this Agreement or create safety, fraud or legal risk. When you choose Delete account, DeskMuse immediately and permanently deletes your account and associated data, then signs you out. This deletion cannot be undone and the account cannot be restored. You may contact privacy@deskmuse.app about legally available data requests.

8. Pixel Coins and In-App Gifts

Pixel Coins are virtual items for use inside DeskMuse. They are not money, a deposit, a security, or a promise of cash value. They cannot be redeemed for cash or transferred outside DeskMuse. Coins may be used for in-app gifts and other supported features; gifts do not create a cash payment obligation to the recipient.

On supported iOS devices, purchases are processed by Apple App Store billing. Prices, taxes, payment authorization and refunds are governed by Apple's terms and policies. DeskMuse does not directly process your full payment card details. We may correct duplicate, fraudulent or failed credits and may require purchase verification before crediting coins.

9. Promoted Campaigns

Promoted campaigns may require Pixel Coins, review and eligibility checks. A submitted campaign is not guaranteed to be approved, displayed, clicked or converted. We may pause, reject or end a campaign for policy, safety, technical or legal reasons. Campaign spend does not guarantee a particular audience, placement, duration or result.

10. Affiliate and Third-Party Links

You must clearly disclose affiliate, sponsored or paid relationships in content where required by law. Product and merchant links may lead to third-party services. DeskMuse does not control or endorse third-party products, prices, policies, availability or transactions. You use third-party services at your own risk and under their terms.

11. Intellectual Property

DeskMuse, its name, branding, software and original interface are owned by DeskMuse or its licensors. Except for the rights expressly granted in this Agreement, no license is granted. If you believe content infringes your rights, send a sufficiently detailed notice to support@deskmuse.app. We may remove or restrict content while reviewing a complaint.

12. Disclaimers and Liability

DeskMuse is provided on an "as available" and "as is" basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that user content, product links, recommendations, promotions or messages are accurate, safe or reliable. Nothing in this Agreement excludes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

To the extent permitted by law, DeskMuse is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of the app, third-party services, user content or unavailable features. You are responsible for your use of the service and for content you submit.

13. Legal Notices

Questions about this Agreement may be sent to support@deskmuse.app. Privacy and personal-information requests should be sent to privacy@deskmuse.app. Any mandatory consumer rights and local laws remain unaffected.

14. Apple Platform Terms

If you access DeskMuse through Apple's platforms, Apple is not responsible for DeskMuse or its content, maintenance or support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this Agreement and may enforce the applicable terms against you where permitted by Apple's platform rules.
